‘About Us’ should really be ‘About Me’ as its just me - Alice. I take orders, answer queries, cut your fabric, pack your fabric and go to the Post Office everyday. I also work on the website (with some help from my brother), work on the marketing (when there is time) and darn it I also have to make my own tea!

My aim is simple. There are so many great fabric designers out there these days I wish to stock as many super fabrics as my little shelves can carry and save you some money by selling them to you at the best possible price and with the best customer service I can possibly muster!

FabricYard specialises in modern quilting fabric from designers such as Etsuka Furuya & Heather Ross. We source fabrics from all over the world, including Alexander Henry, Kokka Japan & Lecien Japan.  

I endeavour to post fabric out within one working day (and often on the same day) using Royal Mail first class service within the UK and using Royal Mail Airmail for overseas orders. I usually head to the Post Office at about 1pm. So if you get your order in for then I should usually have it out for you that day. If you are in a rush for your fabric - just let me know and if it is at all possible, I will make an extra trip to the Post Office for you.

FabricYard have a straightforward £1 delivery charge within the UK so no matter how much fabric you buy it will cost you the same in delivery costs. We won’t penalise you for wanting to buy more fabric from us!

There is the option to pay by cheque if you wish - just choose this option when you go to complete your order, print it off and send it to us at the address given. Any questions, please just ask. At present we only use Paypal to process our online payments. Even if you don’t have a paypal account you can still go through to the paypal site and pay with your credit or debit card.
